This year’s theme is “Big Apple Adventure,” and instructors are using a tour of New York City as a backdrop for teaching about Jesus Christ.  It’s an exciting week filled with all kinds of activities for kids.  There’s also plenty of singing and dancing as children solidify their foundation with Jesus at an early age.

The stage has been transformed into a cityscape of the Big Apple, complete with a giant lighted ball that drops during a countdown at the start of each night’s festivities, just like the crystal ball that drops to ring in the new year in Times Square.  There’s even a small Spiderman action figure that has been seen scaling a few of the buildings over the course of the week!  You never know what to expect at Crosstowne’s VBS…but then that’s part of the fun!
